Sauna Room Maintenance Tips
Proper maintenance keeps your sauna room clean, safe, and long-lasting. Here are a few simple tips:
After each session, keep the door open or turn on ventilation to let the interior dry completely.
Wipe down benches and backrests with a damp cloth and plain water. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners.
For outdoor sauna rooms, apply a breathable, UV-protective wood oil or stain to the exterior annually.
Check the sauna heater and stones regularly, and remove any debris from the stone compartment for safe, efficient operation.
Do not hose down the interior. Use a soft brush or cloth for deeper cleaning when needed.
Proper care not only protects your investment but also ensures a healthier and more enjoyable sauna experience every time.
